It Really Is Signing Time

Overheard from Wee Laddie this morning: “Oh honey…this blue one. Oh honey.” Hehehe

We’ve ordered the complete Signing Time library (many thanks to those of you who gave Wee Laddie cash for Christmas and his birthday!), so we are waiting, with great enthusiasm, for our package to arrive. It’s a total of 13 DVDs and 4 or 5 audio CDs. Signing Time is not inexpensive, but it is so fantastic! Even though Wee Laddie speech is growing at an incredible speed, he is showing interest in signing again.

I’m also going to be either teaching or co-teaching a sign class on base starting on the 28th of this month, so I figured it’d be a handy resource to have. This class will be a combo music & sign class, the music portion being taught by Brenda, one of the people who runs the EFMP playgroup (now called “Little Troopers”)… she’s a therapist or something, I think. She’s so great… very enthusiastic & positive.

Speaking of the EFMP group, we lost one of our members. :( Remember I mentioned that little Maggie was very sick with RSV? Well, she passed away this past week. My heart is just breaking for her parents… I can’t even imagine how you’d get through something like that.
