Talking Rocks

I still find the language acquisition thing so incredibly fascinating. I wish I were better at keeping track of stuff and could chart like what changes come when, and and in what order. Today, Wee Laddie pushed on the footrest to our old glider (no more glider, but we still have the footrest… hopefully it’ll come in handy when we eventually choose a replacement rocker) and as it started to move he told me, “Look, it’s rocking by him all self.”

Isn’t that fantastic? So close, but it still has the charming toddler spin. I love it.
