Back to BK this morning for breakfast. Wee Laddie and I tried to make it to the mess hall, but just couldn’t pull it off. Guitarman had to work today, so he joined us for just a short time. After that we headed off to Neumarkt to get more shelves for the basement… then, of course, to Vedes for “Cars” cars. Wasn’t Wee Laddie appropriately dressed in his new get-up from Roo and her ‘rents?



Home for lunch, then nap.

Went to the Möbelhof to look at rocking chairs and outdoor umbrellas. We’d originally planned to eat dinner there because, like IKEA, they have a reasonably-priced, pretty tasty menu in their cafeteria. But the cafeteria seemed closed… perhaps because there didn’t seem to be any air conditioning in the store. Seriously. None, In a large furniture store. In July. Back home you go to places like that when it gets too hot in your house, right? Ugh, it was crazy. And we didn’t want to sit on the sweltering patio overlooking their parking lot and eat sausages. So we went to the McCafe. The have the “good” chicken strips there right now, so that’s a plus. Quick stop at the grocery store, then home for the night.
