More on Bavarian Drivers

There’s a street in our neighborhood that has a sign marking the end of the 30kph zone that we live in, just before you come to the main road through Parsberg. There are some little kids (maybe 6 or 7) who live right near there and are always playing outside and running across the street. Well, today I was driving by that spot and they were actually playing IN the street doing stuff with sidewalk chalk. This is a fairly narrow road (especially right in that spot)… one of those ones where you really have to hug the outside edge—and might even bump up onto the sidewalk—to pass another car. But these kids did not even get up, they just looked at me as I drove by. I swear if I spoke German I’d have yelled at them to get the hell out of the street before they got run over by some crazy-ass driver.

And as if to illustrate my thoughts on crazy-ass Bavarian drivers, on my way to the base (same trip as the above story), I got passed on a blind curve in the mountainy area by the base by some idiot going probably 80kph.

And now for some bubble love.
