Earlier this week I was talking with our little friend Kaitlyn’s mom. Kaitlyn is about 19 months old and has been our one regular attendee at nearly all of the signing classes. Her mom is very consistent about using it, so Kaity knows TONS of signs and is, in fact, already speaking in full sentences! Today at Total Mom I heard her say to her mom, “Please put boots on.”
Well, apparently Kaity mentioned Wee Laddie and me recently and then said, “Talk hands.” Her mom said, “That’s right. We talk with our hands with O-tay.”
How cool is that? Kinda makes it worth lugging all that crap around for just a few people.
